Branding Session Prep

Where we’ll start

Prior to your session, we’ll discuss who you are, what you’re business is, and what vibe you want to get from your photos. Are you looking for something that’s strictly professional and business, or do you want to convey a more relaxed and natural personality? Do you want images for your social media or is it mostly for your website?

It’s important to know how you plan to use your photos, so that I can cater your session accordingly.

Wardrobe

Makeup and wardrobe are important details to prepare for your session! Due to various circumstances, I no longer offer HMUA. But I highly suggest you schedule a makeup artist on your own (I’m happy to give you referrals).

Nails: are they clean, cut, manicured?

Skin: apply location prior to your session to avoid dry skin.

Clothes: choose outfits that make you feel good! Wear your brand colors and pick a theme. Casual, professional, comfortable, classy. Bringing accessories and more than one item to wear is an easy way to help you add variety to your gallery.

Props

A great way to add dimension and personality to your images is to incorporate props.

Are you a writer? Bring a notebook and laptop!

Are you a makeup artist? Bring your brushes!

Relax, I’ve got you!

Preparing for a photoshoot can seem daunting, but we’ve got this! After discussing your vision and learning about your business, I’ll create a shot list, send over a mood board, and plan the details for you.

All you have to do is show up, and let me do the rest. Branding photos don’t have to be scary, they can be fun!

Feel free to text me questions or give me a call to work out details. I’m here to help make this easy for you.
